Celebrating Semiosis

The theme of ASFLA2023 is Celebrating Semiosis, which honours SFL’s continuing work to understand semiosis across a range of contexts and modalities, with a view to making a positive social change. Specifically, we wish to celebrate the ongoing work of SFLers across Australia and around the world in these challenging times. More broadly, the conference aims to bring together scholars to share of ideas through discussion of how the different areas of SFL theory and related disciplines have been applied, adapted, and/or extended to explore meaning making in both old and new contexts.
